The Broker — The Short Version
TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background tells you something. It says the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker this new, that coverage is broad.
Platforms
Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Many people prefer it after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That should make the platform set when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
This is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.
Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
Here is the part that matters. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.
The Bonus
TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Standard deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
