TabTrade Broker Review - What to Know Before You Sign Up

The Broker - What It IsTab Trade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker. The BlackBull connection matters. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. It is preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.Market coverage: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that coverage is broad. What You Trade OnAvailable: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from one account. Many only give you one or the other. Access to both is useful. Pick what suits your style.MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 before, it is familiar territory.cTrader is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. cBot support. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.FIX API is offered for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That should be a good addition once it is live.Accounts and PricingThree levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade requires zero deposit.VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally. How Fast Are the FillsThe execution is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.Should you care? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.SafetyThis is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there. That said. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It should factor into your assessment. What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense depends on you.The BonusTabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You put money in, TabTrade top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you deposit. The full review, including all the details before you here open an account, more info is at Trade The Day.
